The Osgood Shootout returns to New Britain, Connecticut on August 8–9, 2026 for one of the region’s biggest summer basketball tournaments. Now in its 34th year, this two-day community event features competitive matchups across three divisions: Boys High School, Girls High School, and a Men’s Open Division.
Beyond the games, the weekend includes live music outside New Britain High School on both days, plus food and a great community atmosphere. The Osgood Shootout also supports local student-athletes by awarding scholarships to New Britain graduates.

Divisions & Teams (highlights):
Boys High School Division: 10 teams, including New Britain, West Haven, and Windsor
Girls High School Division: New Britain, Berlin, Newington, Bristol Eastern
Men’s Open Division: 10 teams, including defending champions Zach’s Basketball
